• Residential address and flat/unit number for resident profiles
• Vehicle registration numbers added to your profile

• Profile photos and selfie images, where voluntarily uploaded or captured via device camera for manual identity verification (see Section 7)

Usage & Operational Data:

• Visitor entry and exit logs associated with your property
• Vehicle entry and exit timestamps and records
• Service booking history and provider interactions
• Device information (type, OS, app version)
• IP address and approximate location (for service proximity)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Account Management: To create and manage your profile and authenticate your identity
• Service Delivery: To connect you with service providers and facilitate bookings
• Security Operations: To maintain visitor logs, vehicle records, and guard operations
• Notifications: To send real-time alerts about visitors, vehicles, and announcements

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data may be shared in limited circumstances:

• Within Your Society: Resident names and vehicle details visible to your administrator and security personnel
• Service Providers: Relevant contact details shared with assigned professionals to fulfil your request

• Legal Requirements: Where required by Indian law, court order, or governmental authority

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard protections:

Personal data and user photos will be permanently purged upon account deletion via the app or within 30 days of a manual deletion request, except where legally required.

Upon confirming account deletion, your session is terminated, your account is immediately deactivated, and your profile photos, credentials, and personal records are permanently and irreversibly purged from our active databases.

6. Cookies & Tracking

The Legacy Carry mobile app uses minimal local storage for session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

7. User Photos, Identity Verification & Face Data Policy

Legacy Carry allows users to upload a photograph or take a selfie using the device's camera for the sole purpose of profile picture creation and manual identity verification.

Collection & Biometric Data Clarification:

We do NOT collect, extract, scan, or process biometric facial data, facial geometry, facial landmarks, or TrueDepth depth-maps. The app only collects a standard 2D photograph (selfie) captured via the camera or selected from the photo gallery solely for the purpose of setting up a user profile picture and allowing manual identity verification.

Use, Sharing, Storage, Retention & Deletion Practices:

• Planned Use: Used solely for profile identification, user authentication, and safety within the community. Photos are used exclusively for visual identification (such as resident directory profiles and gate pass verification by security guards). We do not use photographs for automated facial recognition, surveillance, or AI model training.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do NOT sell, rent, disclose, or share user photographs with any third parties, advertisers, or external commercial entities.
• Secure Storage: Stored securely in our encrypted cloud storage database with restricted, role-based administrative access controls and TLS/SSL encryption.
• Retention: Retained only while the user's account remains active. We do not retain photos beyond the active lifecycle of your account.
• Account Deletion: Users can delete their account and associated data at any time directly within the app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Upon account deletion, the user's photos, profile data, and personal records are permanently and irreversibly purged.

8. Children's Privacy

Legacy Carry is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has provided personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app notifications or email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
