Welcome to Legacy Carry Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "We", "Our", "Us"). Legacy Carry is a digital society management platform that provides the following services through its mobile application:
- Security management and visitor access control
- Job and service booking for society residents
- Maintenance tracking and complaint management
- Utility bill payments and digital transactions
- Visitor management with entry/exit logging
- Cashless and digital payment facilitation
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User" or "Resident") and the Company. By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Legacy Carry application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the application.
To use the Legacy Carry platform as a Resident, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
- You must provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information during registration, including name, contact details, flat/unit number, and any KYC documents if requested.
- You must be a current resident, owner, or authorised occupant of a society registered on the platform.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- You must not be prohibited from entering into a legally binding agreement under any applicable law.
Note: Registration with false or inaccurate information may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
Legacy Carry offers a subscription-based service model for residents:
- A free trial period of 1 (one) month is available upon first registration.
- After the trial period, a base subscription fee of Rs. 10 per user per month applies.
- Pricing may vary based on the society, location, selected feature set, or applicable promotional offers.
- All applicable taxes including GST will be charged separately in addition to the subscription fee.
The Company reserves the right to revise the pricing structure, add or remove features, introduce new subscription tiers, or discontinue services, with reasonable prior notice to users. Continued use after pricing changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. Specifically, you agree to:
- Keep your login credentials (username, password, OTP, and PIN) strictly confidential and not share them with any third party.
- Log out of your account after each session on shared or public devices.
- Immediately notify Legacy Carry at info@legacycarry.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access, security breach, or suspicious activity on your account.
- Not create multiple accounts for the same individual or use another user's account.
The Company shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or consequences arising from your failure to maintain account security or from unauthorised access resulting from your negligence.
All financial transactions on the Legacy Carry platform are processed in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines and applicable Indian payment laws.

Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through authorised and PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.
- Legacy Carry does not store, log, or have access to sensitive financial data including full card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials.
- Transaction records and payment confirmations are maintained within the application for your reference.
Refunds
- Refund requests, where applicable, will be processed within 5 to 10 working days from the date of the approved refund request.
- Refunds are subject to the Company's Refund Policy available at legacycarry.com/refund.
- Service fees or subscription charges that have been utilised are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Legacy Carry operates entirely as a cashless digital platform. All service bookings, payments, and transactions must be conducted through the approved digital payment methods available within the application.
- Cash payments or offline dealings between residents and service providers facilitated through the platform are not recognised or endorsed by the Company.
- The Company shall bear no responsibility or liability for disputes, fraud, or losses arising from offline cash transactions.
- Any cash dealings conducted outside the platform are entirely at the user's own risk.
As a Resident user, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in good faith. You undertake to:
- Provide accurate and verified visitor details before granting entry approval through the platform.
- Use the visitor management and security features only for their intended purpose.
- Not misuse, manipulate, or attempt to bypass the platform's security systems, access controls, or administrative features.
- Not post or disseminate illegal, harmful, misleading, defamatory, or offensive content through the platform.
- Treat all service providers, security personnel, and fellow residents with respect and dignity.
- Abide by your society's internal rules and policies in addition to these Terms.
Legacy Carry provides a platform to connect residents with local service providers. The Company's role is strictly that of a facilitator and intermediary. Accordingly:
- The Company does not vet, endorse, certify, or take responsibility for the professional qualifications, conduct, or quality of work of any service provider.
- The Company is not a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement between a resident and a service provider.
- The Company shall not be responsible for the outcome of any job, dispute, injury, loss, or damage arising from services performed by a provider booked through the platform.
- Residents must not post false, misleading, or fabricated service requests on the platform.
- Any disputes between a resident and a service provider must be resolved between the parties directly. The Company may assist in good faith but is not obligated to mediate or adjudicate such disputes.
The visitor management feature allows residents and society administrators to digitally log, approve, and monitor visitor entries and exits.
- All visitor data collected through the platform is maintained in accordance with the Legacy Carry Privacy Policy.
- Society administrators are solely responsible for approving or rejecting visitor entries within their jurisdiction.
- Residents are responsible for ensuring that visitor details they submit are accurate and truthful.
- Visitor entry logs may be retained for up to 12 months for security and audit purposes.
The Legacy Carry application provides digital tools to support security management within residential societies. However, the Company explicitly disclaims the following:
- Legacy Carry is a digital software platform and does not employ, deploy, or manage physical security personnel.
- The Company shall not be liable for any physical security incident, theft, trespass, injury, or harm occurring within or around society premises.
- The effectiveness of security management depends on proper and diligent use of the platform by society administrators and security staff.
- In the event of an emergency, users must contact local law enforcement authorities directly. The platform does not replace or substitute emergency services.
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Legacy Carry platform. Violation may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and/or legal action:
- Using the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Hacking, reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its infrastructure.
- Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or any harmful software.
- Impersonating another resident, administrator, or service provider.
- Collecting or misusing other users' personal data without consent.
- Posting spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional content.
- Attempting to circumvent the platform's payment systems or fees.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts, damages, or interferes with the platform's operation.
The collection, storage, and use of your personal data is governed by the Legacy Carry Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
- We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our services.
- Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with unauthorised third parties.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting info@legacycarry.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Legacy Carry Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
- Loss of data, financial loss, or reputational harm resulting from user error, technical failures, internet outages, or third-party service disruptions.
- Failure or delay in payment processing caused by payment gateway providers or banking institutions.
- Actions or omissions of service providers, security staff, or other users on the platform.
- Any security incident, accident, or physical harm occurring within society premises.
The Company's total aggregate liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the User in the 30 days preceding the claim.
The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account in the following circumstances:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms.
- Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity on the platform.
- Non-payment of applicable subscription fees or outstanding dues.
- Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Any conduct that, in the Company's reasonable judgment, is harmful to other users, service providers, or the platform.
In cases of serious violations, the Company may suspend your account without prior notice. For less severe violations, the Company will attempt to notify you before taking action.
You may discontinue use of the Legacy Carry application at any time. To delete your account, contact us at info@legacycarry.com. Upon account deletion:
- Your active subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Your personal data will be anonymised or deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Any pending dues or outstanding fees must be settled prior to account deletion.
The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time. When material changes are made:
- The updated Terms will be published in the application and on the website with a revised Effective Date.
- Users will be notified via in-app notification or email.
- Continued use of the platform after the revised Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform and may request account deletion.
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws in relation to their use of the platform, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. The Company will issue invoices or receipts for subscription and transaction fees that include applicable tax details as required by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Legacy Carry platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India, being the location of the Company's registered office.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, you may raise any grievance or complaint regarding these Terms or the use of the platform by contacting our Grievance Officer:

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the registration and use of the Legacy Carry Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "Platform", "We", "Us") application by individuals or entities who register as Service Providers.
By completing the registration process and using the Legacy Carry platform as a Service Provider, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not register or use the platform in a Service Provider capacity.
To register as a Service Provider on the Legacy Carry platform, you must satisfy all of the following conditions:
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work under the laws of India.
- You must hold any applicable trade licences, professional certifications, or registrations required by law for the service(s) you offer.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable personal information, identity proof (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN), and any other documents requested during registration.
- You must not have been previously suspended or permanently banned from the platform.
- You must not be prohibited from entering into a legally binding contract under any applicable law.
- Upon submission of all required documents and information, your account will be reviewed and activated within 24 hours.
- The Company reserves the right to reject any registration application at its sole discretion without being required to provide a reason.
- Submission of false information, forged documents, or engagement in any fraudulent activity during registration will result in immediate and permanent account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date at all times.
- You agree to immediately notify the Company of any change in your contact details, service offerings, or legal status.
Legacy Carry charges a platform fee for facilitating service connections. The following fee structure applies:

Service Providers may settle up to 2 jobs on a cash basis. All platform fees beyond this limit must be paid online.

Deducted in two equal instalments from future job earnings
The Company reserves the right to revise the platform fee, penalty structure, or cash settlement limits at any time with prior notice to Service Providers.
Once a job is made available on the platform, the following conditions apply:
- You must carefully review the full job details including the job description, location, agreed amount, and any special instructions before accepting a job.
- By accepting a job on the platform, you enter into a binding commitment to complete the job as per the agreed terms.
- You must complete the accepted job within the timeframe and to the standard agreed with the client.
- If you are unable to fulfil an accepted job, you must notify the client and the platform at the earliest opportunity. A penalty of 5% of the total job value will be applied for accepted jobs that are not completed without valid justification.
- Repeated failure to complete accepted jobs, misrepresentation of services, or patterns of cancellation may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
- The Company may reassign jobs that are cancelled or abandoned to other Service Providers.
All payment transactions must comply with the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Platform fees are automatically calculated based on the job value and deducted or invoiced as applicable.
- Online payment settlement is mandatory for all jobs beyond the 2-job cash allowance.
- Failure to settle platform fees online after the permitted cash job limit may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
- Service Providers are responsible for timely payment of all applicable taxes on their service income, including income tax and GST as required by Indian law.
- The platform does not hold, manage, or act as escrow for any payments between Service Providers and clients. Payments made directly between parties outside the platform are not the Company's responsibility.
As a Service Provider on Legacy Carry, you agree to maintain the following standards:
- Provide services professionally, safely, and to a standard that meets or exceeds the client's reasonable expectations.
- Carry all necessary tools, equipment, and materials required to perform the job.
- Behave respectfully and professionally towards residents, society administrators, and other users at all times.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations during service delivery.
- Not solicit additional payments beyond the agreed amount without prior consent of the client.
- Not request or accept cash tips that violate the platform's cashless policy.
Legacy Carry acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting Service Providers with users. The Company explicitly states that:
- The Company does not employ Service Providers. The relationship is that of an independent contractor and platform, not employer and employee.
- The Company does not guarantee a minimum volume of jobs, income, or earnings for any Service Provider.
- The Company is not a party to any service agreement entered into between a Service Provider and a client.
- The Company shall not be responsible for disputes, losses, personal injuries, property damage, or any other harm arising from services performed by a Service Provider.
- The Company may, at its discretion, provide ratings, feedback tools, and dispute assistance mechanisms but is not obligated to intervene in or resolve service disputes.
The Company collects and processes personal data from Service Providers in accordance with the Legacy Carry Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection laws.
- Your personal information, professional details, and service records are used solely for platform operations, account management, and legal compliance.
- Your contact information may be shared with clients solely for the purpose of fulfilling a confirmed service booking.
- We do not sell your personal data to unauthorised third parties.
- You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data by contacting info@legacycarry.com.

The following activities are strictly prohibited for Service Providers. Violations may result in immediate termination and legal action:
- Providing false information, fake documents, or misrepresenting qualifications or experience.
- Accepting jobs without any genuine intention to complete them.
- Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical conduct towards clients, residents, or other platform users.
- Collecting payments directly from clients in excess of the agreed job amount without authorisation.
- Sharing client personal data with third parties without consent.
- Attempting to solicit clients to conduct transactions outside the platform to avoid platform fees.
- Harassing, threatening, or engaging in discriminatory behaviour towards any user.
- Attempting to manipulate ratings, reviews, or platform algorithms.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts the security, integrity, or operation of the platform.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate a Service Provider account in the following circumstances:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms.
- Submission of fraudulent or forged documents.
- Non-payment of outstanding platform fees or penalties.
- Repeated non-completion of accepted jobs.
- Misconduct, fraud, or harmful behaviour reported by clients or administrators.
- Any conduct that poses a safety risk to residents, society premises, or other users.
Upon termination, all pending dues and penalties must be cleared. The Company may pursue legal remedies for outstanding amounts.
A Service Provider may discontinue use of the platform at any time. However:
- Any accepted jobs in progress must be completed or appropriately handed over before discontinuation.
- All outstanding platform fees, penalties, or dues must be fully settled prior to account closure.
- Account deletion requests must be submitted in writing to info@legacycarry.com.
- The Company will process the deletion request and remove personal data within 30 days, subject to statutory data retention obligations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Legacy Carry Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable to any Service Provider for:
- Loss of income, business opportunity, or expected earnings.
- Disputes with clients or failure to receive payment from clients for jobs conducted outside the platform's payment system.
- Personal injury, property damage, or third-party claims arising during service delivery.
- Technical failures, app downtime, or interruption of platform services.
- Actions or decisions taken by clients, society administrators, or other users.
The Company's total liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the total platform fees paid by the Service Provider in the 30 days prior to the claim.
The Company may revise these Terms at any time. When material changes are made:
- The updated Terms will be published in the application and on the website with a revised Effective Date.
- Service Providers will be notified via in-app notification or the registered email address.
- Continued use of the platform following the publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you disagree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue use and request account closure.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in relation to these Terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India, being the location of the Company's registered office.
